"Keto Grill!": An 11-Second Test Clip From July 2017
This post is short because the recording is. It's an 11-second file from 2017-07-16, about a month into my first keto run, and it was never on YouTube. The machine transcript has two words in it.
In this recording
- [0:07] "Keto Grill!"
That's all of it. There's no recipe, no food talk and no explanation in the audio.
What it is
From the length and the single shouted line, it looks like a test of an intro, a title line for a cooking segment I was thinking about. The file sits in a folder of clips set aside "to be reviewed", next to other short pieces from that summer. I can't tell from the audio what was on the grill or whether anything else was filmed that day, so this post doesn't guess.
What I can say is where the cooking ideas from that time actually ended up on camera. Later that month, in a long beginner video, I described my go-to foods: bacon-fat and sambal dressings, avocado with sambal, pork rinds (video cTGYIFOTPl8). In September 2017 I filmed a one-minute avocado and bacon breakfast (nas-npom4749). The only full cooking video I put out came in January 2019: slow-cooker pork chops for meal prep, done on purpose with as little effort as possible (video hHFu6L-yedE).
There was never a "Keto Grill" series. If you came here looking for grilling recipes, the useful pages are the ones on cheap fatty cuts and meal prep below. Keto grilling is the easy part anyway: meat, salt, a green vegetable, and skip the sugary sauce.
Why it's here at all
Every recording in the archive gets a post, so the list stays complete and nobody has to wonder what a file contains. This one contains a two-word intro. That's the honest summary.
Key points
- An 11-second clip from July 2017 with only "Keto Grill!" in it.
- Probably a test intro. No series followed.
- For actual cooking, see the avocado bacon clip and the 2019 pork chop meal prep.
